The idea of choosing sides  in the rapine between Hamas and  Israel indicates a major misunderstanding about what is going on.   I was raised in Squirrel Hill of Pittsburgh, which is a holocaust survivor community.  My half-brother is Jewish.   My father, once Chair of Philosophy of Education at Pitt was on the  CVL-30 with Bush and at Teachers College with Eisenhhhower who he met professionally.  My grandfather was copy editor at Miami Herald, Wichita Herald and Post Dispatch.
